NICMOS IMAGES
Below are two images of spiral galaxy bulges images with the F606W filter
(V-band) with WFPC2 on HST (top row) and with the F160W filter (H-band)
with NICMOS (bottom row) on HST. The image on the right shows a galaxy that
is believed to harbour an exponential type bulge, whereas the image on the
left shows a bulge that has a classic R1/4
de Vaucouleurs light-profile.
